Sakura trees, also known as cherry blossoms trees, were your favorite type of tree. You enjoyed sitting under the trees when they were in full blossom.
You were walking towards a field with a Sakura tree that grew at the very edge. You had finished your homework and had decided that it would be fun to go and sit under the Sakura tree. You reached there and smiled happily. It was such a beautiful day with the sky partly clouded with delicate clouds and the Sakura petals blowing in the wind.
'I should sketch this down,' you thought to yourself as you sat under the Sakura tree's great branches. You quietly opened your sketch book, pulled out a pencil, and began to sketch the scene in your mind. You were so wrapped up in your work that you didn't hear the footsteps of the approaching person.
"Oh, herro. I hope that I am not botherling you," the person said in a Japanese accent, and you looked up to see brown eyes framed by dark brown hair. Your eyes widened at the sight of the handsome boy, and you smiled at him.
"Hello. No, you're not bothering me. I'm just sitting here sketching. You can sit down if you would like," you said, still smiling. The Japanese boy sat down next to you, but he left some space between the two of you so that you weren't touching.
"Werr, I'm Honda Kiku. Nice to meet you," he said quietly as he looked over your shoulder to see what you were drawing.
"I'm [name], [name] [last name]. Nice to meet you, Kiku," you said, knowing that he hadn't used Western order for the names because of all the manga you had read and all the anime you had watched.
"Nice drawing, [last name]-san," Kiku said, not showing his surprise that you knew that he hadn't spoken his name in Western order.
"Thank you, but you can call me [name]," you said, blushing a bit at his praise of your art work.
"Okay, [name]-san," he replied and thus started a great friendship.
~~~Six Months Later~~~
You opened your locker after the last class of the day. A note slipped out and fell on the floor. You picked it up and read it.
Dear [name],
I have something to tell you something. Meet me where we first met.
Kiku Honda
You smiled slightly at his curled writing. You hoped that you could confess to him that you loved him. It wasn't that cliché 'love at first sight' thing. No, you had fallen head-over-heels for him over the six months that you had known him. You quickly left the school and headed towards that beautiful tree where the Sakura tree grew. When you reached the field, you saw Kiku standing underneath the Sakura tree.
"Hey, Kiku! Why'd you call me here?" you asked him as you ran up to him, a great big smile on your face. You stopped a bit away from him, knowing full well that he enjoyed his personal bubble not to be breached.
"Werr, [name]-chan, I need to terr you something," Kiku said, blushing slightly, though you didn't notice.
"I have something to tell you, but you can go first," you said quietly. You were both nervous.
"Werr, [name], aishiteru," Kiku said, blushing heavily. You looked at him and blushed. Even though you didn't know what 'aishiteru' meant, you could guess what it meant.
"Oh, Kiku. I love you too," you said happily. When you heard him say your name without an honorific, you knew that he returned your feelings.
"I'm grad. [name], may I give you a hug?" Kiku asked. He was always so polite, so he asked you for a hug. You just smiled before you replied.
"Yes! Of course!" you exclaimed happily. Kiku quietly came over to you and gave you a light hug. "Does this mean that I'm your girlfriend now?" you asked the handsome Japanese boy who blushed even harder at your comment.
"Hai," Kiku replied, and you had to resist the urge to squee with delight.
Japanese Stereotypes..
“Hey Kiku?” (your name) asked, just catching a glimpse of her Japanese friend walking by.
Kiku stopped and turned his head to see (your name) flipping open a laptop, and sitting on a comfy beanbag chair, resting her elbows on the small knee-high table.
“Is it true Japanese people are like..super polite all the time?”
Kiku blinked, as if trying to remember what she said.
“Werr, everyone is different (your name).” he said, giving her a look of pity, thinking she'd know the answer to her own question.
He turned to leave, before suddenly being pulled back by none other than (your name) herself.
Outside- Japan x Agoraphobic!Reader (part one)
Outside. The prospect was terrifying. When was the last time you left the house? Maybe about two years ago. You are a recovering agoraphobic, which means that you have a severe phobia of wide open spaces, e.g. leaving your house. Your bestest bud of approximately five years, Kiku Honda, had been getting your groceries all this time, and coming to visit you as often as possible. You loved him with all your heart, as did Kiku, but he had a very hard time opening up to you about his feelings, for fear of being rejected. You had been doubtful that he had ever loved you back, until that one day. That one day, two years ago, where everything change
Japan x Reader : Always With You - Part 4
About a month after the shenanigans with the music room, Kiku noticed Yao behaving strangely. He would come home with bruises and sometimes he would be a breathless, shaking mess. Whenever Kiku asked, Yao would say it was from Gym class, even when he didn't have it. Kiku knew he was up to something ... he thought Yao was being bullied ... or he was seeing someone. Either way, Kiku didn't like it and saw it as his personal duty to put a stop to it, as he thought either situation would ruin Yao's education. There was one issue, though. If Yao was indeed seeing someone, it would be slightly hypocritical of Kiku to put a stop to it, as he had dev
